Quantum Crystallography Workshop

Modern applications of crystallography — theory, practice, and collaboration under Germany’s DFG program.

21–24 September 2026 Tashkent, Uzbekistan

About

The Institute of Geology (Tashkent) will host a workshop dedicated to modern applications of crystallography on September 21–24, 2026.

The workshop is organized under Germany’s DFG program project, “Quantum Crystallographic Exchange between Uzbekistan and Germany.”

Objectives

To build theoretical and practical skills in applying modern crystallography methods to chemistry — in particular, to learn how the capabilities of quantum crystallography can be applied to scientific research in chemistry and related fields.

Participation, Certificate & Language

  • Participation is free and open to everyone interested.
  • Those who fully attend the workshop will receive a certificate of participation.
  • The workshop will be conducted in English.
